Court Throws Out Crazy Claim

The official court documents found here prove conclusively that the crazy claims from 1982 were completely baseless and thrown out of court.


It’s nice to see that the wheels of justice turn true.

The Decline of the Wollongong Wolves

  ''The spirit in those days was something very special. It was all about creating a club.'' Socceroos such as David Ratcliffe, Charlie Yankos and John Filan were drawn to the project. Trevor Francis, Paul Mariner and Alan Brazil showed up as guest players thanks to the generosity of the television entrepeneur Harry Michaels. There was a minor premiership in 1988, a 10,000-plus crowd for a semi-final against Sydney United, a Socceroos game in 1996. The Wolves were building something on the field, and all the time Brandon Park was being improved, step-by-step, to match those ambitions. But then everything changed. It Was All Stars On The Floor For This Special Appeal

There could no other better occasion than Christmas to do something big for a noble cause. The Channel 10 Christmas appeal got massive response by renowned personalities who came together to push it forward in a remarkable way. The event was scheduled for 11.00 AM at Glenelg’s Moseley Square and was full of 22 hours of non-stop entertainment. The objective behind this gathering was towards the aid to The Children’s Medical Research Foundation.
